About LaShondra

I’m building the next chapter too.

I’m LaShondra, an author, entrepreneur, creator, and woman of faith navigating what comes next in real time. The Work Ahead grew from my own questions about work, money, purpose, business, identity, and what it means to move forward when life has not unfolded exactly the way you expected.

I don’t write from the finish line. I write from lived experience, from rebuilding, learning, changing direction, trusting God, and trying to make wiser decisions about the years ahead.

The Journey

From building businesses to building what comes next

I have spent years trying, building, learning, working, and starting over. I have owned businesses, created digital products, worked traditional jobs, learned new technology, built online platforms, and experienced both the excitement and disappointment that can come with entrepreneurship.

Those experiences shaped The Work Ahead. I became less interested in pretending success is simple and more interested in honest conversations about faith, work, income, purpose, technology, rebuilding, and how women can create a meaningful next chapter without spending the rest of their lives hustling.

Today, my books and podcast are where I share what I am learning, what I have lived through, and the questions I believe many women are asking too: What still matters? What needs to change? And what comes next?

Faith

Honest Reflection

Practical Action

Purpose Without Hustle

God belongs in the decisions, not just the outcome. Faith is part of how I think about work, purpose, money, and what comes next.

We can tell the truth about what is working, what is not, what has changed, and what we may need to release.

Clarity matters, but eventually we have to move. Small, realistic next steps can matter more than dramatic reinvention.

Meaningful work should not require us to exhaust ourselves proving our worth. The goal is to build with intention, wisdom, and sustainability.
